NCA Study Network was founded with a simple objective: To make the NCA journey more accessible, affordable, and student-focused, while fostering a supportive and friendly learning environment for the students.
We understand that the NCA process can often feel overwhelming. From navigating assessment requirements and understanding Canadian legal concepts to preparing effective exam answers and balancing professional and personal commitments, students face multiple challenges throughout their NCA journey.
At NCA Study Network, we aim to fill in that gap by providing comprehensive study materials, exam-focused preparation, and personalized support designed specifically for NCA candidates. Our approach combines academic rigor with practical examination strategies to help students prepare with confidence and clarity.
Having gone through the NCA process ourselves and worked closely with aspiring Canadian lawyers, Barristers & Solicitors from diverse backgrounds, we understand the challenges involved. NCA Study Network was built on these experiences, combining firsthand insights, proven examination strategies, and student-centered support to help candidates approach their NCA journey with confidence and clarity.

Comprehensive and Personalized Support Throughout the NCA Journey
Our support extends beyond classroom teaching. We assist students with the NCA assessment process, along with guidance on resumes, English VEPT preparation, Legal Research and Writing requirements, and Indigenous Peoples and the Law support. Our objective is to support students throughout their Canadian accreditation journey, not merely provide the resources required to pass the examinations.
We also understand that every student's circumstances are unique. Whether it is navigating the NCA Assessment process, preparing a plan based on the NCA Schedule, clarifying legal concepts, or overcoming confidence issues after unsuccessful attempts, we strive to provide individualized support at every stage of the journey.

Through the NCA Study Network Community, students have the opportunity to connect with fellow candidates, NCA-qualified professionals, and members of the Canadian legal profession. We believe learning and networking should go hand in hand.
NCA Study Network has also been built by NCA-qualified professionals who have personally experienced the challenges of the accreditation process. The curriculum, materials, teaching methods, and support systems are based on firsthand experience, practical insights, and years of working closely with aspiring Canadian lawyers.

Exam-Oriented Preparation with a Dedicated Focus on Answer Writing
Understanding legal concepts is important, but understanding how the understanding of those concepts are demonstrated in the actual exam is equally critical. Our teaching methodology combines conceptual clarity with practical exam strategies, answer-writing techniques, and time-management skills to help students approach the exams with confidence.
Many students understand the law but struggle to translate that knowledge into high-scoring examination answers. To address this, we provide more than 50 classes focused on legal concepts and over 20 additional classes dedicated specifically to answer writing, exam techniques, IRAC method, and breaking down the question paper.

Extensive Mock Examination Practice and Detailed Feedback
We provide more than 50 exam-like mock questions across the core NCA subjects. Students enrolled in our comprehensive packages receive detailed, line-by-line feedback and answer evaluations designed to identify weaknesses, improve legal analysis, and strengthen examination performance.
This extensive practice allows students not only to test their legal knowledge but also to develop the ability to write answers effectively, and apply the law under a 3 hour time bound exam setting.

Study Materials Designed Specifically for NCA Examinations
Our materials are prepared specifically for NCA candidates and include comprehensive notes, IRACs, case law summaries, article summaries, tables, charts, exam-ready condensed materials, and mock examinations. The focus is always on practical utility rather than overwhelming students with unnecessary volume.

Built from the ground up by someone who has been through it.
Founder
Shubham Bhatia
Founder, NCA Study Network
Shubham Bhatia is the founder of NCA Study Network and has personally developed the platform from the ground up, including its curriculum, study materials, classes, examination strategies, and student-support framework.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (B.A., LL.B.) degree and has successfully completed the NCA process.
Shubham also brings approximately three years of litigation experience, having worked on civil and criminal matters involving client advisory, legal research, appeals, written submissions, negotiations, court proceedings, class action documentation, title search reports for banks, and the drafting of more than 1,500 legal documents.
Alongside his legal experience, Shubham has more than two years of teaching experience and has assisted over 30 students in successfully completing their NCA requirements. His teaching methodology combines legal understanding with practical examination techniques, structured answer writing, time management, and exam-focused preparation.
Several students assisted through NCA Study Network have also progressed to successfully complete the Ontario Barrister and Solicitor Licensing Examinations and move forward within the Canadian legal profession.
Shubham’s practical legal background, personal experience with the NCA process, and experience teaching internationally trained legal professionals form the foundation of NCA Study Network’s approach.

Note from the Founder
When you begin your NCA journey, you may quickly find yourself surrounded by large textbooks, lengthy lectures, unfamiliar Canadian legal concepts, examination requirements, and different opinions about how you should prepare.
You do not necessarily need more information. You need the right information, a clear plan, effective examination strategies, and consistent support.
That is the idea behind the NCA Study Network.
I built this platform after personally going through the NCA process and understanding the challenges you may face along the way. My objective is to help you understand not only the law, but also what you are expected to do with that knowledge in an actual NCA examination.
You may be balancing your studies with employment, family responsibilities, financial commitments, immigration matters, or the challenge of adjusting to a new legal system. Your circumstances may be very different from those of another candidate. That is why I believe your preparation should be flexible, practical, and suited to your individual needs.
You should also know that your Canadian legal journey does not end when you pass your NCA examinations. Building professional relationships, understanding the Canadian legal market, developing confidence, and learning from others are equally important. This is why networking and community remain an important part of the NCA Study Network.
Whether you are beginning your first NCA subject, preparing for your final examination, returning after an unsuccessful attempt, or simply trying to understand where to start, my goal is to help make your journey clearer, more structured, and more manageable.
